Japanese Street Fashion is a term that is used for DIY original fashions commonly found in areas such as the Harajuku district of Tokyo.
While there are many fashion subcultures in Japan such as lolita, decora, Japanese hiphop, visual kei these street styles defy categorization. Japanese Street Fashion are sometimes original clothing that have been created by the wearer. In other cases, Street Fashions have been assembled from used clothing or are simply original coordinations of off-the-self clothing and accessories.
