G-Star Raw x Sergio Pizzorno Jeans
Dutch label G-Star Raw has teamed up with Kasabian’s Sergio Pizzorno to create a special limited edition pair of their Type C jeans, exclusively for Selfridges. Already the face of theRankin shot AW13 advertising campaign, Pizzorno and G-Star decided to cement their partnership by joining forces to release this collaborative style.
The Type C is the latest and most unrestrained form of 3D denim from G-Star. The untreated raw denim design first appeared back in 1996 and helped revolutionise the denim industry. Debuting as a prototype at New York Fashion Week, it was met with instant approval from both the fashion set and denim-lovers alike.
A grand total of one hundred and fifty pairs of the G-Star Raw x Sergio Pizzorno jeans have been produced – each one crafted from 14oz dark aged denim and featuring a special off-white pocket patch and logo to the rear.
Each pocket patch is stamped with its own production number and comes personally signed by Pizzorno as a mark of authenticity – making each pair completely unique. The jeans are sleek and stylish and come in an anatomical fit, which includes tapered skinny legs and oversized rear pockets for plenty of storage.
Priced at £190, they are a snip for the quality of denim and craftsmanship on offer, not to mention the feeling of exclusivity they provide.
One hundred pairs are available now from Selfridges.com, with the final fifty set to be available from G-Star.com at a later date.
